Music is one of the greatest gifts we have, and I want my students to experience how approachable music is at any age or level. Though students have their own individual way of learning and acquired skillset, it is achievable for anyone to master an instrument.
Rachel began her classical musical training at the age of six using a traditional method and later switched to the Suzuki method. She began teaching privately at the age of 16 prior to college and continued throughout her undergraduate studies in the Dayton-Cincinnati area. She actively maintains an in-home private studio of more than 30 students whom she works with weekly. Her students have won both local and international competitions and been accepted into collegiate level music programs with scholarships. She has taught for numerous music studios in the Indianapolis area including the Indianapolis Suzuki Academy, Legacy Music Studios, and Butler Community Arts School. Rachel has completed her training in Every Child Can with Sally Gross at the Chicago Suzuki Institute, Suzuki Piano School Book 1 with Marilyn Andersen, and Suzuki Piano School Book 2 with Gail Lange at the Institute Suzuki Montréal. Rachel is a member of the Indiana Piano Teacher Association.

Rachel believes it is very important to share the gift of music with students of all ages and all backgrounds.
